We are a leading urgent medical service provider in Northeast Ohio, with 10 convenient walk-in clinics in in Cleveland, North Ridgeville, Avon Lake, Mayfield Heights, Parma, Shaker Heights, Middleburg Heights, Hartville, Marysville and North Olmsted, OH.

Our History

Our owners, M. Hamed, M.D. and A. Ali, M.D. founded Health Express Urgent Care and Occupational Health Centers in 2014 in Parma, OH after observing a need for affordable, reliable and accessible health care in Northeast Ohio. They noticed if a patient was unable to see their primary doctor, their only choice was often the emergency room.

As our patients noticed our commitment to serving outstanding, affordable, and top rated medical care, we became committed to serving more communities. As our owners are loyal to serving the Northeast Ohio community, we opened our Avon Lake, OH facility in 2017 and facilities in Mayfield Heights, OH and North Ridgeville, OH in 2019. We most recently opened an office in a very underserved area of Cleveland on Pearl Rd in 2022 and December 2023 we opened an office in the heart of Shaker Heights. We also began offering virtual care (telemedicine) visits, available daily from the convenience of your own home.

Our mission at Health Express Urgent Care is to provide a broad range of full service care and services to patients from all socioeconomic classes and ages. Eliminating health care discrepancies or bias within the healthcare system and treating them with the intent to provide relief and comfort. Our intent is to impact communities/families by providing improvement in quality of life without sacrificing the highest level of patient satisfaction.

Our vision is to allow patients to address health needs ranging from urgent care, occupational health and primary care needs. Allowing continuity of care to be under one roof to allow better outcomes and patient convenience.

  Caring for the health of our children in our community is part of the Health express core foundation. Pediatric-focused care continues to grow despite extended services. We continue to prioritize families and provide a friendly environment for the children.

  We focus on maintaining a healthy, empathetic patient-centered rapport with our patients and their families. Understanding the dynamics of our patients helps us create a treatment plan that’s best for our patient. Allowing free communication directly to our providers allows our patients to be heard, understood and recognized.   We provide a broad range of services with the intent of healing, providing relief and comfort, prevention, and occupational. Accommodating our patients to the most convenient form of seeking care. From walk-ins, scheduled follow-ups/transitional care visits, virtual medicine, occupational health, Suboxone, primary care to a versatile procedure room. No referral run around! We diagnose, treat and follow our patients until complete resolution of their symptoms.

  We take time to understand our patients’ health needs with consideration of their lifestyle , families and beliefs. We recognize the impact we can have on our patients and will seek any measure to provide a voice for our patients. We understand life can be hard. Regardless of insurance or financial status, we do whatever it takes to get proper care for our patients.

  We promote team member growth and happiness/confidence. By continuing education, routine didactics by board certified MDs from multiple specialties in house, we continue to invest in the development of our providers with rewards on performance, opportunities of growth, educational reimbursements. Protecting our patients with well versed, up-to- date providers is at the forefront of our culture. We pride ourself on consistent, excellent patient outcomes with less than 1% of patients needing ER admission or failure to initial management. Your success is our success.
