I went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergraduate (Go Tar Heels!) and graduated with a BS in Biology and Exercise Sport Science with a minor in Chemistry and a concentration in Medical Anthropology
I then attended the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school at the Cleveland campus
I completed my residency in Family Medicine at Methodist Hospitals in Dallas, Texas with
a certification in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine
I am a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Medicine and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine
I am most passionate about preventative and lifestyle medicine, and mental health plays a big part in this! I want to empower people to live longer, healthier lives and strive to get to the root cause of medical conditions. Many chronic diseases are reversible, but individuals must make the necessary lifestyle changes.
I’m passionate about helping people bridge the gap between traditional Western medicine and lifestyle and integrative medicine. I strive to listen more than I speak, get to know my patients on a personal level, and create a safe environment to address all concerns.
One of my favorite parts of being a doctor is getting people off medication! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and consider myself a foodie! My favorite travel adventures include a medical mission trip to Cape Town, South Africa, and traveling throughout Italy, enjoying food and wine!
