Your child’s physical is a breeze with Health Express Urgent Care. Our fast and affordable child physical (17 and under) is only $40 for sports and camp physicals, and helps keep your child safe by making sure that they can meet the physical demands of sports and camp activities. Adult physicals are $65. Please note, most physicals are not covered by major insurance plans (their rules, not ours). However, many Medicaid plans will cover one physical a year. Please contact your insurance carrier for more information regarding insurance coverage for physicals.
The Department of Transportation exam is a federally regulated medical examination to determine if a person meets the federal standard to drive a commercial motor vehicle. The exam includes vision tests, audiogram, dipstick urinalysis, physical examination, and medical history review. We have DOT certified providers ready to keep drivers safe by making sure they can safely perform the physical demands of the job.
We offer general pre-employment physicals which consist of an assessment of the candidate’s cardiovascular (heart), respiratory (chest) and auditory (ear) systems. We will also check the patient’s blood pressure (BP) and body mass index (BMI). We also offer customized physical testing based on your company needs by creating your own physical or fit for duty form to have our provider complete during each visit — we can help create a form for you if you don’t already have one. We also provide fit for duty exams for police officers and firefighters. We will conduct a physical examination tailored to fit the requirements of any job. The Department of Transportation requires school drivers to pass a physical prior to September 1 of the new school year, and the information must be entered into the system and officially submitted. Health Express Urgent Care offers same day, fast and affordable T8 exams so you can get back to work for the school year.
